Holly Willoughby, 39, was back in the studio today alongside her co-host Phillip Schofield for the first This Morning show of the week. Holly is known for her luxurious outfits and today was no different with the presenter opting for a designer label which she explained was rented.
Posting the look on Instagram, the presenter said: “Morning Monday…#hollyjollychristmas too much? Never!!! It’s CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!
“See you on @thismorning at 10am…Dress rented from @hurr @thevampireswife #sustainablefashion.”
The HURR Collective brand rents dresses between £160-£500, a fraction of the retail price.
The post has now got 81,500 likes and over 1,000 comments with fans expressing their love towards Holly’s dress.
The presenter has sported affordable brands in the past with numbers from Zara, Oasis and Marks and Spencer.
But more recently, Holly’s festive pieces have been from expensive designer labels.
One person commented: “We need you to wear more high street, more affordable.”
Another said: “Beautiful dress! I agree Holly’s daily style should really be promoting the high-street as whatever she wears, she sells out so quickly and they SO need our help right now. It’s so sad seeing so many amazing shops closing.”
Holly also sported another rental number back in October which saw her wear a fascia floral midi dress with long sleeves.
The piece was from HURR clothing company again and was designed by fashion designer Sau Lee.
The pink piece retails for £300 but is available to rent off their website for £55.
She emphasised the importance of sustainable fashion in her Instagram post and said: “Such a great way of injecting your wardrobe with something new that doesn’t only get worn once or twice.”
