The Art Deco style is made of clear aquamarines and diamonds.
They can be worn as one large oval brooch or in a staggered style, as they have been today.
The Queen is particularly fond of these pieces and has worn them at a great many events.
This includes a state visit to the Netherlands in 1958.

She wore the three-strand pearl necklace.
According to Leslie Field, author of The Queen’s Jewels, the first necklace was a gift from her grandfather, George V, for this Silver Jubilee in 1935.
